This year’s festival runs from Wednesday, September 4th, through Sunday, September 15th, featuring artist Kathryn Mapes Turner, the fourth generation raised on her family’s Triangle X Ranch in Grand Teton National Park. A recipient of numerous national awards, Turner conveys her “experience of a subject’s essential spirit and energy” in impressionistic paintings of nature and wildlife. Every fifth year also features a sculptor; this year John E. Simms, a local metal sculptor, will display multiple works. His sculptural pieces, based on geometric forms, are “organic configurations emanating vital strength.”

Guests listen intently as Harold and John Turner tell tales of earlier days at the Triangle X Ranch during the 2018 event. The Historic Ranch tours are always a highlight of the festival. Tickets available at jacksonholechamber.com.
